  • Can I set hot pans on my granite?
    Yes, granite that is 3cm or 1 ¼” thick is dense enough to absorb the heat shock of a frying pan or dish from the oven.
  • What should I consider when purchasing a natural stone countertop?

  • Is it necessary to seal stone?
    One of the myths outside the tile and stone industry is that granite is difficult to maintain. This could not be further from the truth. Regardless of the type of stone you choose, we seal your stone twice – once before we fabricate and again after the installation. With granite, the sealer only rides on the microscopic pores of the stone. It does not penetrate the stone the way a wood varnish seeps into the wood. We will guide you through any maintenance requirements prior to your final product selection, thus ensuring you get the right product for the right application.
  • Will cutting on my granite countertop scratch the granite?
    No, it will however ruin your knives.
  • What is the best way to care for my natural stone countertops?
    We recommend using a clear liquid biodegradable soap as a universal cleaner for all natural stones.
